The Essence of Sacred Comfort Care

An Inner Way of Being

A shared, quiet leaning into a more compassionate way of care
This gathering offers space to gently explore the underlying qualities of Sacred Comfort Care—not as a set of practices, but as a way of being with others, during moments of vulnerability, transition and uncertainty.

About this Gathering

Participants are offered an opportunity to pause and explore the foundational qualities of this model of care—not as techniques to master, but as an inner orientation cultivated through awareness, reflection, and shared presence. It is not instructional in nature, but demonstrates the essence of this care.

As a participant, you are invited to feel into what it means to accompany others with steadiness, humility, and compassion—especially in times when words, fixing, or doing more are not what is needed.

Who is this for?

This gathering is open to caregivers, healthcare professionals (nurses, social workers, chaplains), end-of-life doulas—anyone drawn toward more compassionate, human-centered care in a time of increasingly medicalized, depersonalized, and technology-driven care.

No prior caregiving experience is required.

If we have no peace within ourselves,
we have no peace with what is all around us.
